View to the Aarhus Docklands
Aarhus will in the years to come be enriched with a brand new and spectacular part of the city. When completed, the Aarhus Docklands will hold floorage of 800.000 square meters with room for 7.000 residents and 12.000 jobs. Hereby, the Aarhus Docklands will be, both with regards to volume and vision, among Europe’s largest waterfront projects.
There are high ceilings in the Aarhus Docklands. It is here that the city meets the bay in an inspiring interaction between visionary architecture, recreational areas and a lively harbour atmosphere. It will be a wonderful place to live, an exciting place to work and above all, it will be a diversity of recreational, cultural and eventful possibilities for both the citizens and the visitors.
